ABOUT
Bodney Lodge is a beautifully restored nineteenth century converted barn and stable, offering luxurious accommodation for up to 12 people in 5 double bedrooms, all which have en-suite bathrooms, and an open mezzanine twin room.
The property has been lovingly refurbished to the highest possible standard, with top quality amenities and ground source underfloor heating on the stone floor throughout, allowing a truly comfortable stay without compromising on the character of the original features of the property.
The main barn is particularly spectacular, with open plan living arranged underneath the huge vaulted, oak-beamed ceiling, making it an ideal venue for group gatherings between family and friends. The focal point is a cosy seating area, which is flanked by a bespoke built-in library and a large wood burner set within a period stone chimney. Between the seating area and the newly installed kitchen is a 12-person rustic, teak dining table which lies beneath a statement antler chandelier.
The decor of Bodney Lodge offers stylish interiors throughout, with stylish fabrics, feature wallpapers, bespoke headboards on supremely comfortable beds and the ultimate bathing experience in a gloriously opulent free-standing William & Holland copper bath.
Only two hours from London, Bodney Lodge is set within a 40-acre estate in the heart of Norfolk’s Breckland. Situated within the grounds of Bodney Hall, the property is approached by a private tree-lined gravel driveway, and offers large private gardens which are fully enclosed, and which offer stunning views across the parkland and Norfolk countryside from each angle. Guests can enjoy a host of activities, such as fly fishing on the River Wissey or choose to use Bodney Lodge as a perfect base to explore the many unique places and hidden treasures Norfolk has to offer.
Prices range from £2,500 to £5,500 per week depending on the season. Shorter stays are sometimes available.
Bodney Lodge can also be booked in conjunction with Bodney Park Cottage, a two-bedroom cottage on the estate.
